How it started
AshenCodex did not start as a platform.
It started with me trying to build a habit tracker in Google Sheets. I wanted something useful, flexible and beautiful, and instead I kept running into limitations, strange workarounds, errors and layouts that never quite looked the way I wanted them to.
“Fuck it. Let’s jump.”
So I did.
I sat down, started learning and began building the thing I actually wanted to use.
That became AshenCodex.
AshenCodex is also part of my own learning process. Mistakes can happen. What matters is not pretending they never do, but fixing them quickly and making the product better because of them.
If something feels confusing, incomplete, annoying or simply not quite right, I want to know. The same goes for new ideas, wishes and even ridiculous little gimmicks that would make AshenCodex more fun to use.
